2010 Electric Auto Show in Canada

Canadian technologies have just joined a project targeted at getting electric cars onto roads around the world. The official unveiling of Project Eve took place this week at the EV 2010 Electric Vehicles Conference as well as Trade Show in Vancouver. In addition, the official design for the Kestrel, a four-passenger electric car from a plant-based hemp composite, was introduced by Calgary-based Motive Industries.

 

This program features special technical sessions on advanced energy storage, two plenary sessions, municipal readiness, along with a 4-track technical program of 16 sessions and main topics in terms of vehicle technologies, infrastructure, as well as other readiness measures, essential; public policies and institutional changes, together with commercialization and environmental influences. Besides, this conference also witnesses the participation of vehicle manufacturers, fleet managers, alternative vehicle retailers, utilities, architects, sustainability managers, suppliers of components, engineers, property builders, parts and professional services, the electric vehicle industry, power producers, research and technology professionals, environmental organizations, educators, students, policy makers, non-government organizations, local, provincial and federal government transportation and environment officials, as well as investors.
