An auto mechanics vocational class is fun for most teen-agers. Although fun, it is also a tool in preparing them for life. The lasting skills and character traits that the students develop through the class will help to truly prepare them for life as an independent adult. They can learn a solid career skill that could be further developed and turned into a career that they enjoy. It could also allow them to put themselves through college when they would not have had a chance otherwise.
